In addition to our ongoing philanthropic efforts through our community partnerships (hyperlink to community partnership page), Green Dragon Tavern & Museum donates to a variety of educational, charitable and community organizations throughout the year.
Please make sure your letter is on the Organization’s letterhead and includes the following important information:
• Date of your event
• Contact information (include phone number, email and address to which correspondence and donation may be sent)
• Brief description of your organization and event with estimated number of attendees.
• Organization's Federal Tax ID #
• W-9 (required for non510©3 organizations only. Visit https://www.irs.gov/charities-non-profits/exempt-organizations-select-check should you require clarification).
As we receive many donation requests throughout the San Diego region, we require 2-4 weeks lead time for consideration of your request. While we wish we could donate to every cause, we are unable to honor each and every request.

Looking to raise funds for your nonprofit organization? Then start thinking Green! Green Dragon Tavern & Museum is always thrilled to partner with eligible schools, charitable and community organizations seeking to dine out and have us give back to your cause. Community is at the heart of who we are. Our team will partner with you to make this a historic fundraiser for your organization. Fundraisers generally donate 20% of total food and nonalcoholic beverages purchased from all guests providing your branded flyer at your event.

Donations may not be made payable to an individual, crowd funding page like GoFundMe or intermediary group. Donations must be paid to the hosting recognized 501©3 organization or on its behalf to another like organization. Checks may be sent to the hosting organization to present to their beneficiary.
